As you can see from my earnestly half-assed amateur cell phone photography of suck, it is a day of Gloom and DOOM this lazy Southern Arizona Sunday morning afternoon.
It is afternoon now, in part because Science Bitch, but mostly because my computer is trying to murder itself and so I am relegated to posting this via “smart” phone. This takes abnormally long because a.))) I am obsessive and tediously perfectionistic in my own eccentric expectations and delights; and b.))) My “smart” phone operates as though it were conceived and manufactured in 1987 Soviet Russia by underfunded, lobotomized chimpanzee scientists working off the absurd assumption that someday soon, wireless and microprocessor technology might be readily available, neigh RAMAPANT, in the palm of one’s hand!
“RAMAPANT”? The fuck is that?? “Rampant.” RAMPANT.
Goddamn but I LOVE me a good day of Gloom and DOOM. 😀
I had this entire brilliant, verbose, linguistically stunning introduction planned out in my head, but I got distracted by the aforementioned armchair photography session, and I made the fuckin’ pogue mistake of not writing my thoughts down, so now my precious, brilliantly stunning intellectual property is lost forever.
Had I not failed to record so many of these nuggets of sheer genius throughout my overly deliberatorious* lifetime (*yeah, I made it up), I would no doubt be regarded as a sage-like pillar of ageless wisdom, surrounded by countless tomes of mine own philosophical ponderings, sitting in sublime meditative repose high atop a crest in the Colorado Rockies, a mecca for those wandering millenial beat-resurgent hipster disciples searching for answers.
I totally just got wrapped up and turned around and all-consumingly enthralled in my own mentally masturbatory train of thought…
Yesterday was a busy day here for the We, as We were blessed with the dharma and kindness of two awesome new friends and fellow WordPressers! Between the gifts of re-blogs, shout-outs, widget parties, birdie calls, smoke signals, and other mad phat props, not only were We kept enthralled in stimulating online conversation, exploration, and infiltration throughout the day, We were furthermore favored with the highest amount of traffic to Our Realm of Bloggery and Madness (uh…this page, I mean) since that dumb Super Bowl post that brought so much disinterested glancing and sluggish trudgery only weeks ago. 😀
Julia at Mamamaitri offers world-class photography, thoughtful observations, creative musings, and contagious kindness.
Shawn at mojoshawn offers an altered perspective, a trickster’s bag of humor, a philosophical unsercurrent, and a touch of willful madness.
Anyone who knows some or most of the Ryan will immediately understand why it took Us all of a day (or so) to digitally bond with these two new comrades, and their kindness towards Us should be repaid with a tide of traffic to their respective online abodes the intensity of which should border on fanboy style stalking. Don’t worry, We’ll build up to it… 😉
Furthermore, anyone who “knows” some or most of the Ryan will also be aware of how physically and mentally exhausted We become after making even a single new friend — even an online one. It’s just a natural byproduct of Our brand of Crazy…what can I say…We’re nucking futs. But you already know!
So, on that note, We shall spend this lethargic Sunday basking in the comforting blanket of Gloom these glorious, heaving DOOM-clouds afford Us, and withdrawing retiring submerging into recouperative, regenerative, revitalizing ablutions of antisocial ponderous reflection and cold medicine fueled psychedelic bliss!
Thanks for stopping by, feel free to fire up a chat in the comments, and otherwise We shall talk at y’all soon!
Oh, yeah…Brain Cloud. More thoughts on that soon. SOONER….
